"Quite possibly the best roast I’ve had out other than at home. A beautiful old fashioned pub full of original features. A warm welcome with good selection of drinks. The roast dinner was faultless. Lovely crispy potatoes. Big Yorkshire and a huge portion of vegetables. Plentiful gravy and having more was not a problem. So good we couldn’t fit in a pudding. Most Importantly it was £15."

"Lovely welcoming pub - good beer, good food and lovely friendly service. The wood burning fireplace, cosy picture-coveted walls and friendly dog (Frankie) make this pub special. It’s right in the centre of Chittlehamholt, and about half a mile (10-15 minutes walk, depending how many beers you’ve had) from the Mole resort. Highly recommended."

"Absolutely beautiful pub and the roast chicken was amazing. Plenty of veg, roast potatoes and gravy, came out fresh and all piping hot. Staff are very friendly and the little pub dog was very cute. 100% go if you’re in the area or staying at the mole resort down the road, could easily walk from the resort."

"We had two amazing meals here while staying at the Mole Resort, which is only a short walk away. The food was incredible on both occasions; fresh and flavourful, with high-quality ingredients. The service was great. Overall, a very pleasant experience."

"We stopped there after reading the positive reviews. We were in the vicinity to buy a horse and not familiar with the area. Top rated place, we were taken to the table without delay, even though we hadn't booked the table. It was busy, attentive staff, served food with a smile. Sunday roast was brilliant, enjoyed with a a local lager Utopian. Reasonable prices, great service, helpful staff. A+++"

"Absolutely delicious! We had Sunday roast (2 meats and the veggie quinoa roast) and it tasted so nice!!!Also I had scone and tea… with extra of cream … omg! So delicious! Friendly staff, dogs are allowed and they are super welcoming! Super recommended! Thanks for a wonderful meal 🙏🏻"
